As a Black, 1st gen Caribbean woman and a therapist, I work with people, especially Black and Caribbean women, who are carrying generational trauma, wrestling with identity, or burning out under the weight of financial stress.

I got into this work because I watched the patterns repeat: people working hard on their trauma in therapy but still stuck financially, or managing money "fine" but emotionally exhausted. I realized money stress and emotional pain aren't separate issues, they're tangled together. That's why I became a Certified Financial Social Worker, and why I built my practice around both.

I believe therapy should be a safe, affirming space for everyone, especially for those who've felt unseen in traditional mental health settings. My approach is grounded in what I've learned as a Black woman myself: your culture matters, your real constraints matter, and healing shouldn't require you to choose between emotional safety and financial survival.

I work with trauma-informed and somatic practices, CBT, and strengths-based approaches. I'm also deeply attuned to neurodivergence, high sensitivity, financial stress, and the complex intersections of race, culture, and mental health. This is a space where you can show up fully as yourself - without judgment.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Financial Social Worker (CFSW), with 5+ years of experience helping people through mental health struggles, financial stress, and generational trauma.
